Cyber Security Engineer

Actionline Ltd., is a Greek company that specializes in the provision of innovative human resources solutions. Actionline is currently seeking on behalf of its client, for a Cyber Security Engineer.

Description:

In your role you will undertake tasks, such as:

– Design, implement, administrate, maintain, tune, and troubleshoot Cybersecurity Systems and Solutions such as WAF, DAM, EDR, email Security, PAM, DLP, etc.

– Investigate and analyze alerts triggered from the Cyber Security Solutions in place.

– Work on projects focused on development and continuous improvement of security infrastructure.

– Provide consultation and security improvements in Azure oriented solutions and be responsible for the security hardening of the aforementioned systems.

– Research innovative technologies and investigate industry security best practices in designing problems.

– Assist in maintaining the security level of IT systems and networks.

– Create documentation and revise the deliverables for important cybersecurity projects.

To be a successful candidate, your professional profile should match the following criteria:

– University/College degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology or relevant technology-related field.

– At least (3) years of proven working experience as a Security Engineer or similar role.

– A Master’s Degree in Information Security, Cyber Security, or similar area will be considered an asset.

– Knowledge of common Cybersecurity Models (Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond & Recover) and frameworks is a plus.

– Understanding of Identity Protection, Anti-DDoS protection, Endpoint Protection, WAF, as well as networking concepts (TCP/IP, network packet analyzing, network technologies and perimeter protection).

– Being familiar with Cloud Technologies and Azure landscape.

– Being comfortable with cyber security incident handling topic.

– Relevant Cybersecurity Certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, CEH, GCIH, eWPT, CySA+, AZ-100, AZ-500, SC-200 will be considered a plus!

On the personal side:

– Comfort in presenting and explaining cybersecurity topics to technical teams as well as high-level audience.

– Experience in working with cross functional teams in executing projects (IT Systems, Database or Network Administrators).

– Strong organizational skills.

– Excellent communications and negotiation skills.

– Passionate with Cyber Security topic.

– Strong aptitude for staying updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and best practices.
